Miranda Lambert returned to Texas this morning to attend the funeral of her childhood friend Mark Adams, only to learn more bad news. She Tweeted, "My best friend, father-in-law, and now my dog, Dixie. My dog died Thursday. My parents just told me. Headed now to bury my friend of 20 years. I hope what they say is right -- 'What doesn't kill you makes you stronger.'" --Tammy Ragusa

Carrie Underwood will release her fourth studio album on May 1st, and no one is more thrilled than she is. She's excited just to have new stuff to sing in her shows. Carrie hasn't given the album a title yet, but the first single, "Good Girl," will hit the airwaves on February 23rd.
